M2-FV Finger Vein Reader

Overview

This device safely reads finger vein patterns found underneath the skin that are unique to each individual.

This reader works by shining an infrared light through an employees finger and capturing an image of the veins. The device uses a computer algorithm to generate a secure numeric pattern. The resulting pattern is then matched with an encrypted database record to authenticate a person. Since every persons vein patterns are different, this technique of authentication is virtually impossible to forge.

This non-invasive, contactless finger vein reader scans below the skin's surface to ensure a perfect read with every scan, regardless of skin damage or wear.
