Qqest Hires New Director of Project Management and Operations

Qqest Software Systems has hired Jose Gaona as the company's new director of project management and operations. In this capacity, Gaona will direct short- and long-term strategic plans for the company's flagship product, TimeForce, a time and attendance software solution.

Gaona brings 20 years of experience in the automated time and attendance industry, and is a recognized expert in the field. He came to Qqest from Ceridian Employer Service, where he was the company's senior product manager for the various time and labor products. During his 17 year career at Ceridian, he served in several roles ranging from service manager to sales support implementation manager. He was also the company's lead subject manger expert for automated time and attendance. Prior to working at Ceridian, Gaona was one of the first employees at EAS Technologies, a leading provider of time and labor management systems headquartered in Louisville, KY, where he helped open the commercial market for company.

Gaona's clients have included major corporations like BellSouth, Pfizer, Duracell, General Dynamics, Fisher Price, and many others. He has conducted seminars on implementing automated time and attendance systems for industry groups such as IHRIM and the American Payroll Association, and has spoken at numerous trade shows.
